During the course of 2005 it was recognised that due to extraordinary facility works to be carried out inside the Geelong Stamping Plant that a potential hearing protection issue may arise as a significantly noisy facility was being relocated to an area with a large amount of captive employees across 3 shifts.

To negate this issue our department employeed Hearing Tech to provide personalised hearing protection for 90 employees .

During the process of fitting , manufacture and training in the use of these devices a high degree of professionalism and customer courtesy was displayed by Jan Van Kooten .

Feedback from all employees has been excellent and as such Jan should be commended on his approach to our requests
